"Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!"
-Jesus

We invite you to carefully consider the following thoughts from God's Word.

We all are sinful and separated from God. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Sin separates us from God. Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of mans' sinful disobedience to God's command, fellowship with God was broken. The first man, Adam, passed on this sin to all of us. This sin results in our separation from God. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8) and "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

We must by faith repent our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of your selves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9) and "But as many as received him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his Name." (John 1:12)

Personal Response: Receiving Jesus Christ involves turning to God from your sin (repentance) and trusting Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins. You can receive Christ right now. God knows and sees the attitude of your heart and wants to hear you call out to Him in prayer.

Suggested Prayer: "Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save me. I receive You now as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
